Build your own bamboo arrangement in an up-cycled Freedom's Edge bottle. All materials and one pint included.

Raquel Meyers Art Exhibit | 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | LCCC's Esther and John Clay Fine Art Gallery, 1400 E College Dr | Free to attend | Multi-media Artist Raquel Meyers' "Keys of Fury. Type In Beyond the Scrolling Horizon exhibit will be on display starting Sept. 19. The artist will be on hand at 11:00 a.m. to talk about the exhibit inside the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium, followed by a reception at noon in the lobby.

Noon Meditation Series | 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, 710 S. Lions Park Dr | Free to attend | This drop-in meditation session in the Gathering Room helps you melt stress away during the work day. Bring anything you need to help you sit comfortably for 30 minutes- blanket, towel, etc.

Open Studio | 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. | Cheyenne Creativity Center, 1620 Thomes Ave | Free to attend, $5 suggested donation | Bring your own materials and draw from the props provided or work on a piece of your own in this open-studio style workshop. Local artist Steve Knox will be on hand for questions or suggestions.

Get ready to don your lederhosen this weekend for the 5th Annual Downtown Cheyenne Oktoberfest! On Saturday, September 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m, the Depot Plaza will come alive with German tradition, lively music, delicious food and of course, an impressive selection of beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing and Prost Brewing Company. The day will also include a costume contest, stein hoisting competition and live music from Rush Archives.
