Succulent Rock Garden Workshop ft. Iyaz | 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. | Depot Plaza, 121 W 15th St | Free to attend | As part of the CultureX festival, Fridays on the Plaza presents a Saturday show featuring music from island-pop, reggae-splashed artist Iyaz. His debut single 'Replay," went to number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 2009. Support from Yung of Cali Swag District and Mann.
Ice Wars International | 7:00 p.m. | Outlaw Saloon, 312 S Greeley Hwy | $45-$95 | A fan favorite at hockey games are the fights. The new league has extrapolated the fights from the game and bring them to you as professional and semi professional fighters battle it out on the ice in two 1-minute rounds.

The 67th Old Fashioned Melodrama | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Historic Atlas Theatre, 211 W Lincolnway | $17-$23 | Cheer for the hero, boo the villain and have a hoot-hollerin’ good time! A beautiful orphan, a bronc-bustin’ cowboy, a sweet young lass who dreams of stardom, a sly snake of a man and more all converge on the Fallen Angel Hotel, owned by Madame Décolleté.
🎸 Just Announced: Giant riffs and powerful vocals will be on display at The Lincoln as Drowning Pool takes the stage on Friday, August 4th. The bands newest album, HELLELUJAH, is described as their heaviest batch of hell-raising anthems, each burning with fiery adrenaline destined to light the radio ablaze and ignite crowds into impassioned singalongs. 🌙 Light Show: The northern lights will be visible on the horizon in Cheyenne on Thursday.
⛑️ Preparedness: F.E. Warren Air Force Base will hold an active shooter exercise on Monday, July 10th.
🥊 Drop the Gloves: A new ice fighting league called “Ice Wars”, will make it's US debut in Cheyenne this week.
🍓 Farm-to-Table: A South-Dakota based farm-to-consumer produce delivery truck will be in Cheyenne this week selling produce picked from farms all over the nation.
🚔 Community-Building: The Laramie County Sheriff's Office will host its first-ever National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 1st.
🏙️ Come Together: The City Council’s Public Service Commission voted to initiate a resolution to annex the F.E. Warren Air Force Base into the City of Cheyenne.
🌳 Prevention: Urban Forestry Crews will spray spruce trees in city parks and city-owned properties to prevent Ips beetle infestation.
One Last Thing
The 4th annual WyoGives takes place on Wednesday, July 12th. An initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, WyoGives is a statewide 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits. Donors can easily search and donate to over 300 Wyoming nonprofits from the web platform. Many of this year's donations will be matched by matching and challenge partners. Be sure to visit WyoGives this Wednesday to support your favorite Cheyenne or Wyoming causes!
