🥁 Announced: As a part of the newly added fall tour dates, 90's alternative-rock band Everclear will take the stage at The Lincoln on September 30th. You can expect the favorites such as “Santa Monica” and “Father of Mine,” but the band will also mix in "deep cuts" from its 11-album catalogue. 👩🎓 New Adventures: Laramie County School District 1 has partnered with Cheyenne Frontier Days to hold graduation ceremonies for Cheyenne high schools at Frontier Park on Friday.
🥕 Relocation: The Downtown Development Authority board is looking to relocate the Farmers Market back to 15th Street downtown.
🎾 Tourney Time: Pickleball, kickball and cornhole tournaments will be held during Superday 2023 at Lions Park and registration for each tournament is open now.
🖼️ Digital Art: A Central High School student has been chosen as the winner for Wyoming in the “Doodle for Google” student contest. Public votes will now determine the five national finalists.
🍺 Top Shop: Accomplice Brewing won bronze at prestigious beer competition, the World Beer Cup. The competition had over 10,000 entries across 103 categories from breweries in 51 countries.
💯 Community Spirit: Record donations were received by Cheyenne Day of Giving during the non-profit's event last week. More than $13,000 and over 25,000 pounds of food and personal care items were collected.
🍎 Mentor: A South High English Language Arts teacher has been named as Laramie County School District 1’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year.
🚓 Crime Fighters: The Cheyenne Police Department is holding its annual Neighborhood Night Out on July 13th. The event is designed to bring neighbors, businesses and police together in partnership against crime.
