All money raised stays in Laramie County and helps families who have lost a loved one by supporting Laramie County Grief Support Group.

🎸 Just Announced: Fridays on the Plaza has announced one of its upcoming shows this summer: 3OH!3. The American electronic music duo from Boulder, Colorado will perform on the Depot Plaza on Friday, July 14th. Best of all, it's free! The band is best known for its single “DONTTRUSTME” from its album “Want,” which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

🏢 New Life: Progress is being made on the Hynds Building in downtown Cheyenne according to Mayor Patrick Collins. The new owner's plans call for a mixture of apartments, office and retail space, and possibly even a restaurant.
🎧 Bright Lights: Ice Cube is headed to Cheyenne to perform this weekend, and here's how the show came about.
🐈 Newborn: The Cheyenne Animal Shelter is working to restock kitten foster supplies. Join them for a "Kitten Shower," and help by donating supplies to support the hundreds of newborn kittens.
🎲 Game Time: The annual Cheyenne Gaming Convention returns April 21-23. The three-day event features games for all ages. A charity Texas Hold-em Poker tournament joins the featured games at this year's convention.
🎤 Belt it Out: Cheyenne Frontier Days is looking for performers to sing the National Anthem prior to the rodeos this summer. Applications are due by May 1st.
🚔 On Patrol: The Laramie County Sheriff's Office plan to purchase two new K-9 narcotics dogs has been approved.
👔 On the Job : Non-profit, Needs, Inc., recently opened a career closet that creates a “boutique like” experience for individuals to pick out complete outfits for job interviews.

Springtime is here and with the warmer weather it's a good time to begin pondering the upcoming gardening season. National Gardening Day falls on Friday, April 14th and is a day that encourages gardeners and soon-to-be gardeners to pick up a shovel, plant some seeds and kick off the gardening season. It may be a bit early around these parts, but you can explore these events to hold you over a little longer:
