Following their recent Grand Ole Opry debut, the band is gearing up for its fall Shooting Star Tour beginning in September. Don't miss this popular tour of the High Plains Arboretum! Hosted by the Alliance for Historic Wyoming, the Unbarred: High Plains Arboretum tour, led by members of the Cheyenne Botanic Garden's staff and Wyoming State Parks, will begin at the historic greenhouse and will visit other historic structures at the site including the lath house and the superintendent's house. The High Plains Arboretum is a 62-acre historic site located on the former USDA Cheyenne Horticultural Field Station, west of Warren Air Force Base. Many hardy trees, shrubs and flowers were planted there to be tested for survival on the High Plains. Researchers at the station also developed new varieties of plants that were suited to Cheyenne's harsh climate. A limited number of tickets are available now!
