The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board presents its annual Dubois Award on Saturday, Sept. 16, as recognition to preserve the Abraham Fox House. Tour the home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Monday, Sept 11th
Painting & Pints | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Freedom's Edge Brewing Co., 1509 Pioneer Ave | $42 | Get creative with Flydragon Art Studio during this guided painting session. The session includes all supplies needed to paint your masterpiece and a Freedom's Edge pint.
Tuesday, Sept 12th
Cheyenne Tuesday Farmers Market | 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Frontier Mall, South of JCPenny | Free to attend | Only a few more weeks left to visit the parking lot south of JCPenny to find a variety of local goods, including: farm fresh eggs, grass fed beef and bison, breads, pies, salsas and more.
Intro to Wheel Throwing | 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Silver Sage Ceramics, 3110 Old Faithful Rd | $55 | The interactive session will provide the basics of wheel throwing and how to center and pull walls. Keep up to two of of your favorite pieces to be fired and glazed. Clay, studio glazes, firing and basic tools included.

Konrad shows her beautiful prints across the Mountain West and at Uncork'd she'll guide you through the process of creating your very own prints.
Jam Night | 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. | The Lincoln, 1615 Central Ave | Free to attend | Learn and build your skills with likeminded individuals during Jam Night. Dubois Award Presentation & Home Tour - Abraham Fox House | 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. | 1714 E 19th St | Free to attend | The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board presents its annual Dubois Award to Carol McDonald as recognition of her efforts to preserve the Abraham Fox House. Stop in to tour the home, which was built in 1956 for Abraham H. and Edith Fox, the original proprietors of Cheyenne's Firebird Motor Motel.

✈️ Back in Business: After 160 days of runway renovation, the Cheyenne Regional Airport reopened for commercial flights on Sunday.
🌨️ Winter is Coming: A hard winter is predicted by Cheyenne meteorologist Don Day Jr.
🐕 Escapee: A dog that's been roaming Cheyenne since 2019 has been caught by Cheyenne Animal Control.
🏃 Run for Good: The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center foundation is set to host its annual Great Bison Shuffle Trail Run and fundraiser on September 23rd.
👮 Old West: Laramie County Sheriff Brian Kozak is looking for a 'posse' of volunteers to help patrol shopping centers during the upcoming holiday season.
🚧 Maintenance: The City of Cheyenne has begun the 2023 crack seal project, which will cover about 33 miles of city streets.
⛽ Name Change: Cheyenne Kum & Go locations will soon rebrand to Maverik stores.
One Last Thing
The 36th Annual Cheyenne Greek Festival has become a cultural staple in our community and is back this weekend on Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th at the Frontier Park Exhibition Hall located at 1312 W 8th Ave. You won’t want to miss the two days of Mediterranean magic filled with authentic Greek cuisine, Greek music, European jewelry, traditional dance performances and more! And don’t forget about the the mouth-watering pastries! Money raised from the event helps support Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church and locals charities. This year’s charity is Family Promise, which develops and supports affiliates that address family homelessness in Cheyenne.
