🎤 Upcoming: This rising country artist from West Virginia makes a stop in Cheyenne on Wednesday, June 5th during his 2024 Tour in support of his latest album "Family Ties". Charles Wesley Godwin is known for his deep, piercing voice and his ability to paint portraits of human experiences, similar to artists like Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson. Godwin signed his first major record label deal and opened for Zach Bryan in 2023, and is spending 2024 headlining shows around the US while also supporting Luke Combs on several dates and playing festivals like Stagecoach, Bonnaroo and Under the Big Sky. 🏡 Updated: The annual Cheyenne Police event has a new name.
📬 Delivery: The plans to move mail processing out of Wyoming, including Cheyenne, has been temporarily halted.
💰Miner: The gold and copper mine project west of Cheyenne is now worth up to about $3.7 billion.
🏙️ History: The old Hitching Post Inn sign has been saved and will be restored by the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board.
⚡ Community: The Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club has received a $1.3 million dollar gift from Black Hills Energy and other partners.
💻 Cease: A Chinese-owned cryptocurrency mine near F. E. Warren has been ordered to be shut down.
